The Creative Crafts Sub-Committee aims to provide exciting events and welcoming workshops
for any members with an interest in arts and crafts - wool, fabric, glass or paper,
knitting, stitching, drawing or painting...... and some we have not thought of yet!
We strive to bring members opportunities to learn new and improve on existing skills.
We arrange visits to places of Art and Culture - historic houses, museums, exhibitions or galleries, and administer the Silver Cup and the NFWI Elizabeth Bell Challenge competitions.
There were twenty two entries for this competition. Congratulations to all who entered. Proceeds from the voting at the ACM were donated to Aylesbury Women's Aid; thank you for your generosity!
Well done to Beaconsfield WI whose entry won the
County round; they creatively only featured hands to represent their Year - and got around any GDPR issues in the doing!
Old Coulsdon Cupcakes WI (Surrey Federation) won the national competition - well done ladies!
Thank you to all WIs who entered this challenge for your work in producing creative memories of your year. We had very many lovely portfolios - it's obvious that many of you ARE inspired by photography and there is a wealth of talent out there.
