2022 Silver Cup Challenge
The Leisure & Crafts sub-committee are delighted to announce the 2022 Silver Cup Challenge!
This year the title is "The Queen's Platinum Jubilee" and you are invited to create an A4 size painting or drawing in any medium to illustrate any aspect of Her Majesty's 70 year reign. Keep your work but register your intention to enter the competition by writing to 2018LandL@gmail.com no later than Friday 13th May. If you prefer you can post your application to enter to BFWI Silver Cup, Stuart Lodge, Stuart Road, High Wycombe HP13 6AG.
Then you bring your entry to the Annual Council Meeting at the Waterside Theatre, Aylesbury on 17th May. Please supply a stand to display your entry and pencil your name, WI and contact details on the reverse. Entries will be staged anonymously. If you would like to enter the competition but cannot attend on 17th May, you can give your entry to a delegate or observer to bring for you.
Members attending the ACM vote for their favourite entry using silver coins, and the entry which receives the highest number of coins (not the value) is the winner. The winning entry will be announced in Bucks News and on this website and social media.

2020 - 2021 Silver Cup Challenge

Thanks to all who entered our Silver Cup competition this year. "Jeans Reinvented" was the title for 2020/21. The challenge was to upcycle an unwanted pair of jeans or recycle some denim fabric. Interfacing, stuffing, and a limited amount of additional fabric could be used, and embellishment was encouraged.
Entries were judged at our online ACM on 26th May and you can see the results over on our gallery page.
